PTO
Employees want to know how much PTO (Paid Time Off) is available to them.
PTO is vacation, sick, personal time – whatever your company has defined.
Work with your payroll company to get this printed on their paystub. It will make your employees happy and make the job easier for you. Both ADP and Paychex are happy to do that. They can help you with accruals if you have accrued time.
One caution however: make sure you have the information correct and that your employees agree it is correct before you have it printed on the paystub. Create a form with the information and have each employee sign off on their time.
